Exchange Policy

Effective April 2026

The Short Version

All sales are final. We do not issue cash refunds. If an item is not right for you, you have 10 days from confirmed delivery to request an exchange. Approved exchanges are issued as Archive Credits — redeemable on any future purchase. Replacement orders ship free.

Eligibility

The 10-day exchange window opens on the date your carrier confirms delivery — not the estimated date. You must submit your exchange request within that window to be considered.

Items must be returned in the same condition they were shipped. We photograph and document every item before it leaves us. Upon return, each piece is inspected against that record.

We do not issue credit for items returned with new staining, odor, signs of wear, or damage not present at the time of sale. If a returned item does not pass inspection, it will be shipped back to you at no additional charge.

How It Works

  1. Request an exchange from your account within 10 days of confirmed delivery.

  2. Purchase and attach a return shipping label. Return shipping is at your cost.

  3. Ship the item back promptly. We recommend a tracked service.

  4. We inspect on receipt. Allow 10–15 days from the date we receive the item.

  5. Archive Credit is issued to your account in the amount of the original purchase price.

  6. Use your credit on any item. Your replacement order ships free.

Archive Credits

Archive Credits are issued at the full purchase price of the returned item. Credits have no expiration date and apply to any item in the catalog. At checkout, available credit is applied automatically.

Common Questions

Why 10–15 days for credit?
Every item we sell is documented and photographed before it ships. When a return arrives, we inspect it against that record to confirm it is in the same condition. This takes time to do properly, and we think you would want us to apply that same standard to every item in the catalog — including the one you are exchanging for.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Outbound shipping on your replacement order is free.
What if my item has not been marked as delivered?
Reach out to us. Carrier scans occasionally miss final delivery. We review these manually and will open the exchange window once delivery is confirmed.
Can I get a refund instead of credit?
No. All sales are final. Archive Credits are the only form of exchange we offer.
What if my item does not pass inspection?
If a returned item shows new damage, staining, or wear not present at the time of sale, we will notify you and return the item to you at no charge. No credit will be issued.
